Sun, 5 November 2006 This show can be broken up into two parts. In the first part we welcomed (back) an original member of the podcast version of "The Nick and Joe Show." Frank, the young man we named the studio after decided to return after an eight month journey that took him to different states and different states of mind. We catch up with Frank in part one, in part two we dissect the horrible TV effect known as "The Laugh Track." In this age of television where shows like Arrested Development, The Office and Curb Your Enthusiasm recieve so much critical acclaim it makes no sense for shows like 20 Good Years to be aired. The laugh track stinks and no one, especially 30 year old canned laughter, should tell us when we should laugh at something. We'll laugh if it's funny. We tested the laugh track on a horribly written pilot to see if it made the crappy dialouge funnier. Tune in for the results.
